1. Talking about feeling overwhelming pain (may be related to recent loss)
2. Extreme changes in behavior or an increase in risky, reckless behavior
3. Talking about feeling hopeless, trapped, invisible or burdensome
4. Letters/messages/social media posts saying goodbye
5. Social withdrawal, loss of interest in usual hobbies and activities
6. Talking about wanting to die or commit suicide
7. No longer tending to physical appearance
8. An increase in use of alcohol or drugs
9. Giving away important possessions
10.Having difficulty sleeping and eating
11.Exhibiting a depressed mood
