The Restorative Justice Community Court was opened in August 2020 in Avondale in Resurrection Hall St. Hyacinth Basilica. RJCC is a criminal court, however unlike most criminal courts, it practices restorative justice, which means it empowers the community to create solutions to repair the harm caused by crime and conflict. The Restorative Justice Community Court sessions are held every Friday from 10:30am in Resurrection Hall. Court sessions are open to the public and community members are welcome.
Please join us on Sunday, November 7th at 11:45am in Resurrection Hall to learn more about RJCC and how you can help our community.
